The apostle John testifies Jesus, who died and raised from the dead, is God in the flesh. I have seen the Son of God and walked and talked with him in real-time. The bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. Near the end of his life, he declares again for those who doubt Jesus is both God and man; he affirms with the other disciples; we have seen him; we have touched him. We have beheld His glory and share this so you might believe and experience eternal life. (When You Say Lord)

The message for us is the resurrected Jesus is now interacting with us every moment of our life. The living Jesus is the source of infinite love and provides everything we can imagine out of His abundant supply. His love shields us, covers us, and indwells us. Christ lives in our hearts, and we possess everything we need for eternal life today. (You are My Dwelling Place)

John touched Jesus as the Son of Man and as the Son of God, but we walk with him today, moment by moment as the “Living Christ.” By being aware of His presence in our lives, we realize we will dwell and enjoy Him forever. Take a deep breath and let His loving presence fill your soul with whatever you need today.

Scripture:
“For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:33 NIV

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.” 1 John 1:1-2 NIV
