1 Corinthians 15:20 “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

One of the mysteries the apostle Paul writes about in the New Testament is the spiritual transformation in our heart that unfolds with the realization we are divine partakers of the nature of the resurrected Christ; we are the first fruits of a new kingdom and humanity. Christ opens our eyes to see a new realm of being, being alive in communion and union with the spirit of the living God. (Contemplation: Seeing the World through God’s Eyes)

We are children born of Adam, conceived from the dirt and dust of the earth, and given an unfathomable treasure of God’s spirit dwelling in our hearts. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God’s Spirit lives in you? 1 Cor. 6:19 NIV

In a millisecond at the resurrection, Jesus of Nazareth is Lord exalted over all creation and the universe. We no longer walk on the earth as mere men and women but destined to be an integral part of the eternal blueprint of God’s masterpiece. God is working in us, transforming us from men and women of flesh and blood to brothers and sisters chosen to reign by the spirit in God’s kingdom with Christ.

The resurrected Christ conquers death and fulfills His plan for us to live and dwell forever as One in the loving presence of God the Father/Mother and Son. The hope of Glory is we may experience it in our lives right now and forever.

Scripture: “Through these, He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” 2 Peter 1:4
